Re: Is this really advisable? (Postgresql and kernel tweaks)



So here's a question:

Can I put SEMMNI=256 & SEMMNS=2048 in /etc/sysctl.conf, or do I need 
to recompile the kernel on the database server before it goes live?

Also, could I have found this documented somewhere?
