My company has been using BestPower UPS units with Linux/SCO/Solaris for
some years now. The BestPower software comes with full source code on
the CD and you compile it for your target platform.

Unfortunately, BestPower recently merged with PowerWare so I am unsure
of the status of their software today and going forward. I did call
PowerWare 6mo ago or so and they claimed to support Linux with their
software out of the box. It's a start anyways. I hope they continue to
provide source code.

You can start by following the links at bestpower.com.
