Hello,
I've reported this problem some time ago, and it still isn't resolved in
-current. It was said that is was most likely due to problems with
automatic speed selection on the switch. However, I had the same problem
when connecting with a crossover cable to a FreeBSD box, both my and the
other's network card forced to 100 mbit full-duplex. I hope to have some
free time soon to test these cards under other operating systems, and
hopefully pin down the problem. It might be the exphy code, so I'm
currently looking for 3com cards without this PHY so I can verify this.
