The sourceforge tarball doesn't contain code related specifically to
'UPnP NAT Traversal', but if it's indeed just a question of redirecting
incoming UDP packets to a local broadcast address (so NATed clients can
connect out when they're queried), that could probably be done using a
simple rdr rule (if that conforms with the local security policy).
I'm sure Microsoft will promptly and competently answer any questions
regarding the technical details (port numbers used, etc.) on their
support hotline.
And no, a local workstation will never arbitrarily manipulate a pf rule
set, especially not when the authentication is proprietary or
non-existant. If _that's_ what they mean, they're nuts.
