Shouldn't that be mentioned in the patch?

Although a thorough search on my system found no such binaries....

Oh - I just found another static binary - /var/named/named-xfer.
Why that's in /var is a good question.

And I suppose I should add ld.so.  I guess I'll have to post a revision of 
that script.
