locking Starting system

Hi,

I'm starting the mysql daemon at rc.local but I forgot to put it to run in
background.
Now when i booted the system, it stops when load the mysql in foreground. and
I tryed Control-C but I cant stop it, and I cant login.

Anyone know a way to skip the daemons initialization or skip these?
