Re: ipnat and http traffic

OK,

thanks warchild for your reply.

I tried tcp dump..yup the request for the web pages say google.com are
going out. But you opened my eye's, I know what the problem is but not to
sure yet how to fix it.

What is happening is I got two subnets. tx0(x.x.197.x) and
tx1(x.x.68.x) and of course tx2 192.168.0.1.

See I can using lynx and get to any web page that is on x.x.197.x or
x.x.68.x. But I cannot get to say www.google.com.

Now this go's also with ssh and sftp. I can only reach the bsd box from a
computer on x.x.68.x or x.x.197.x.

So, is there by default with openbsd2.9 some security feature that would
lock out the world, that is any other ip that would not be on tx0 or tx1
subnet?

thanks
