Ah - I must be going blind... I was ls -l'ing in /etc, looking for a 
file that began with a lower-case x... the upper-case X files were on 
the first page!

Yeah - I have already made a backup of /etc, /home & the httpd config 
files. I've decided to do a fresh install instead of an upgrade. I 
wanted to have a backup to help me remember all of the X config. stuff 
that I've forgotten over the last year or so.
