I'm better prepared than most:

We sent some of our firies to NYC to show support for the guys there.
Now we have helicopters from Canada dropping 3 tonnes of water per
flight, firies from 3 other states (Australia is the size of the 48US,
roughly, but is only 7 states) Times like this it is a case of lots of
wonderful people from wherever helping. Feeding firies, evacs of old
people from retirement homes, animal rescue. Takes the worst to bring
out the best, eh? I'm getting a bit old (63) for this kind of action...
