ramdisk and tty

Dear All:
I am new with OpenBSD.
I have some experience of Linux about 1 year.
Now ,I got some confusing with config RAMDISK and tty

After rebuilt KERNEL, I can't change tty by Ctrl+Alt+F*
But,if I use old kernel,I can do it.
So I wonder if I miss something in CONFIG File?
pseudo-device pty ?

And the other question about ramdisk.
I add pseudo-device rd to kernel config file.
and I use disklabe or newfs as root to config rd0,shell return the
message,Operation is not permit.
Could anyone tell me how to create several ramdisk step by step? Please. ^^
