    What I find obnoxious about this thread is the comparison of apparent
"Monolithic Centralization" with "Sovietism".  Frankly, this is an extremely
insulting political slur.  And one which is only true in the context of
american individualism and anti-government culture.  I'm not tarring that
perspective, but reminding folks that:

 a) OpenBSD is not developed in America
 b) if you have a problem with Monolithic Kernels and systems, go make an
OpenBSD derived Mach distribution or something
 and
 c) Don't make obviously insulting ideological attacks on a technical
volunteer organization.

P.S.  I have nothing whatever against America (at least, not that I'm
prepared to discuss on lists such as this), but I am absolutely against a
prevalent sense that American approaches and values are primary and
overriding -cg.
