determine hostname.<device name> for NIC ?

How do I determine what device name to use ? 

As the DFE-530TX NIC (via-rhine) does not work with OpenBSD, I've found a 3COM905
NIC to use.  So I plug that card into this machine, but where do I find out what
device name to use ?
