I have a dinosaur T3400 too.  Tried booting the installdisk of obsd
2.8 but it failed.  So did debian and some other distros.  Something
to do with the A20 gate or the bios I presume...

But... obsd on a 486 laptop?  Isn't that a bit overkill?
