Hi,
I strongly recommend you use an external modem, with 3Com being mh personal
favourite - although this won't really matter too much..
The majority of Internet modems are 'winmodems' which are not supported by
*nix (as they requires windows to drive them)..

I was wondering if anybody could suggest a good modem to me for use in
an OpenBSD 2.8 server? I am looking for preferally an internal pci
(possablly an external) would like to stay with 3com/U.S. Robotics if at all
possable. Main things im looking for are: 56k... (starndard now), niceley
supported, easy to configure, and reliable. Any suggestions would be very
well apriciated.
