Re: Kernel Crashes on ibm thinkpad 390 openBSD 2.8 w/ latest Snapshot - 1feb2001



This is just an FYI for those of you that were interested in all those
errors I was receiving when installing openBSD on my thinkpad:

    Aparently openBSD was freezing when booting becuase it was having
conflicts with 'pci slots'...but I dont have any pci slots in my laptop ;)
so, i figured out that PCI was an option that I could disable (boot -c,
disable pci, quit)
    I've configured my kernel to automatically disable it on its own, and so
far, my laptop is running great ;)

openBSD rules ;)
