I believe if you have a look at the manual, you'll see it warns you about
RAM types. At least, any Tyan board I've ever used did (Tiger 100, Trinity
400, Trinity 100). I ran into the same thing with my Trin400, then I
RTFMed and talked to a couple of people I know who're big Tyan fans, they
told me the same thing. Tyan goes so far as to specify manufacturers, I
believe, although all my Tyan boards are at home (this is an Asus-boarded
workplace).
