Can a VMWare virtual machine running under an IPv4 host run IPv6?
I'd like to set up a virtual network on a Windows 2000 box to get some hands
on experience with routing, firewalling, IPv6, IPsec, etc., under OpenBSD,
but I'm not sure it's practical.
On one hand, the networking support would have to be robust, and on the
other hand, the system would have to be able to keep two or three virtual
machines running at the same time. VMWare would be cheaper than buying
hardware, and it would involve a lot less clutter.
Does this sound totally hairbrained?
