Problem with 2 NICs in one machine

Have:
Dell Omniplex (I think 560, but the machine's not right in front of me)
Netgear FA-310TX 10/100 NIC (dc0)
Netgear FA-311 10/100 NIC (sis0)

Machine's purpose:
Really cheap firewall for my DSL connection (which isn't completely up
yet)

Problem Description:
With both cards in the machine, I get a "dc0: MII with no PHY" error on
boot. With only one card in the machine (either card), everything works
fine. 

Anybody have any insight to lend concerning this problem?
