I have a Databook 86072 based ISA -PCMCIA bridge that just dont want to
working in 2.8 the kernel recognizes and configs the interface, however it
will not detect card changes and network cards that work under 2.8 on my
laptop which is PCIC based do not function at all (the cards include a
LinkSys 802.11 card (wi*), a 3com/Megahertz 3CCFE574BT 10/100 NIC
(ep*), and a Megahertz XJack 56K Modem.) The system has 2 HHDs one that
runs Windows2K w/ SP1 and everything functionf fine there. 

any pointers or know bugs here? I saw a couple of messages in the mailing
list about this same issue but didnt find a resolution. Any help is
greatly appreciated.
