While not a bad suggestion, the web page does have its last-modified
time down the bottom, and the additions to plus.html are listed in
reverse-chronological order AFAICT, so if that date is more recent than
your most recent checkout, you haven't got the most recent patch(es) ...

OTOH if les developers are prepared to add that extra info to their
plus.html entries I'm sure that wouldn't be a bad thing ...
