ukbd in i386

Do anyone know the status of the ukbd driver? I am trying to set up a
HP Pavillion 6545C with a MS Natural Pro USB keyboard and MS USB
Intellimouse on the latest 2.8 source. The keyboard works fine until
I enable USB support in the kernel. Then, the mouse will work (with
X), but the USB keyboard doesn't (a regular PS/2 keyboard works just
fine). I searched around and found this message

http://www.monkey.org/openbsd/archive/misc/0009/msg00937.html

that says it (wskbd0 at ukbd0: console keyboard, using wsdisplay0) is
working in the PPC port. This message:

http://www.sigmasoft.com/cgi-bin/wilma_hiliter/openbsd-tech/200009/msg
00088.html

says that as of 9/8/2000 it's not working for i386 yet.

I could work around it, but for convenience I would like to use it as
I _think_ it will work in the future. If this is not possible yet, or
more information is needed, please let me know....

Pete

p.s. I hope Outlook didn't butcher this message - it _should_ wrap at
70 chars.
