Newbie attitude on the List (was Re: QT-1.45 from ports not working)
Couple points on here:
1. Joe, Your attitude stinks.
You ask for help. Bunch of people is trying
to help you and when you do not like their
response you tell them to shut up or insult them.
You should learn some humility otherwise you going
to turn off a lot of people who otherwise would
be willing to help you.
2. I can't imagine you came from Linux.
True, Linux is easier in many cases however things
like mount works pretty much the same in all *nixes
so if you did not know mount in OpenBSD you
probably do not know how to mount in Linux.
Your attitude is more like a Windows user who
demands support from a company from which he purchased
his OS (M$). These are the kind of people who
put up with your insults (to the point) because
you pay them money for support.
When it comes to communities like Linux or OBSD
you can find all the resources you want but you
should never *demand* solutions.
In conclusion:
If you want ready made solutions start paying
someone to get them for you, however If you want to
be able to do it yourself start reading the man pages.
OpenBSD has THE BEST man pages I have ever seen.
