ftp segfaults and core dumps on a new install of snapshot #667

Symptom: /usr/bin/ftp causes a segfault and core dumps whenever it's run
on a new install of snapshot 667. Output: "Segmentation fault (core dumped)".

Reproducing: Any time after installing (even if it's the first command executed
after logging in for the first time) running ftp will segfault and core
dump. As reported previously (for snapshot 653) /usr/bin/Mail also segfaults
and core dumps (mail has done this for at least the past two snapshots,
but ftp worked fine in those releases). sftp and all other network related
services that I've tried work fine. I've attached a copy of the dmesg output
and a gzipped core file from ftp. Please let me know if you would like any
additional information.
