IPNAT (traceroute doesn't work)

Hello,

I am using OpenBSD 2.8 on an Intel Pentium 133 64MB
RAM with all the latest patches applied. The problem
is the following: I am using OpenBSD as a NAT firewall
to connect my private network with my internet subnet.
When I want to do a traceroute from one of my machines
in my private network, the traceroute will not work or
it will report me my NAT firewall and then it won't go
further (display stars). If I do the same traceroute
from my firewall It works perfectly. I beleive there
is a bug in the code from IPNAT as I found a sort of
patch at this address (which works!):

http://www.false.net/ipfilter/2000_08/0331.html

Could someone please add this patch to the patches of
OpenBSD 2.8 ? It would be great because I don't want
to upgrade to OpenBSD 2.8 only for that problem. I was
told that this problem was gone in OpenBSD 2.8. Btw: I
am 100% percent sure my IPF/IPNAT rules are correct
because for IPF i let pass anything in and out and for
IPNAT i simply map the ports as in the examples nat.1.
If you need more informations please feel free to
contact me.

Thank you very much in advance

Best Regards
Marc Bigler
