/usr/bin/Mail segfaults in a clean install of snapshot #653

Symptom: /usr/bin/Mail causes a Segmentation fault with core dump.

Exact output:  "Segmentation fault (core dumped)"

Reproducing:  Even if it's the first command typed after installing, running 
`mail` (with or without parameters) causes a segfault and leaves a core 
file in it's wake. I have been able to reproduce this bug every time I've 
tried, using both the snapshot that was available on 24-04-2001 (I forget 
what number it was) and the latest snapshot (#653). I have included the 
dmesg output as well as the core file. Please feel free to ask for any additional 
information.
