Subject: perl5.8 extra files
Message-ID: <20041209215605_(_dot_)_GA89662_(_at_)_xor_(_dot_)_obsecurity_(_dot_)_org>
Currently the perl5.8 port leaves behind the following files after
deinstallation:
list of extra files and directories in / (not present before this port was installed but present after it was deinstalled)
2122522 4 -rw-r--r-- 1 root wheel 201 Dec 9 06:02 etc/make.conf
2145147 0 lrwxr-xr-x 1 root wheel 19 Dec 9 06:02 usr/bin/perl -> /usr/local/bin/perl
2145148 0 lrwxr-xr-x 1 root wheel 23 Dec 9 06:02 usr/bin/suidperl -> /usr/local/bin/suidperl
2145149 0 lrwxr-xr-x 1 root wheel 19 Dec 9 06:02 usr/bin/perl5.8.5 -> /usr/local/bin/perl
The etc/make.conf is unavoidable, but should the 3 (dangling) symlinks
be removed?
Kris
