onboard intel pro 100 ve problems

Hi 

I have installed Windows XP IN Compaq Machine , Now I
have a problem with the Network card ,it fails to
update driver from my computer as well on Windows XP
CD . Giving me a message "The device can not start
(code 10)

Note : The Driver version is 6.1.3.10

What should I do to resolve this problem.
